  • Reviewing developed design and detailed design documents for errors, omissions and incompleteness.
  • Reviewing of building services tenders for compliance and completeness.
  • Management of additional site surveys that are required to complete the design.
  • Development of detailed shutdown plans, as design details are developed and available.
  • Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors as required for feasibility and pricing options.
  • Providing valuable engineering input.

Construction Estimating

Kwetu Development offers extensive project estimate, quantity take-off on entire scope of work as represented on the plans. Our cost estimating includes all elements for the complete project cost, including equipment, materials, construction, installation, engineering, design and management, owner's cost, commissioning and operational readiness.

The cost estimates are compiled in a structured but flexible database format which is set up for the particular project requirements.

Maintenance Management

Any residential or commercial development is subjected to deterioration if not well taken care of. Therefore, to prevent unexpected failures arising is to implement  an ongoing building maintenance program to evaluate current conditions, identify critical defects in the buildings' components, analyse and review trends of degradation over time (in walls, ceilings, flooring, roofing, waterproofing, concrete, pipes and electrical), helping prevent problems before they can occur.
